Genre: a special guest with a fascinating book

Veranstalter: Junges Literaturhaus

Tippi and Grace. Two sisters. Two hearts. Two dreams. Two lives. But one body. Grace and Tippi are conjoined twins, joined at the waist, defying the odds of survival for sixteen years. They share everything, and they are everything to each other. They would never imagine being apart. For them, that would be the real tragedy. But something is happening to them. Something they hoped would never happen. And Grace doesn’t want to admit it. Not even to Tippi ...

The popular and successful author of young adult novels exclusively for you and your students in Literaturhaus Salzburg! Having done profound research on the topic of conjoined twins, she will supply visual aids for her literary talks.

As all four lectures are done in English, students with the same language level will be assigned to the same literary talk. Students attending the lecture should be 14 years old at least and it makes sense that they have either read the book or are familiar with the extracts of the novel that are provided by Peter Fuschelberger. Additionally, he offers to assist teachers in the classroom with a preparatory lesson for the literary talk. All groups attending will be given an autographed copy of the book for the school library.

This literary talk is not only interesting for English classes but for Biology, Psychology and Ethics classes as well.
